Program Overview
Faithful Hands Residential Services provides a therapeutic residential program for adolescent males ages 12 through 18 who require a supervised living environment due to emotional, behavioral, or situational challenges that interfere with their ability to remain safely and consistently in a family or community setting.
Services are delivered within a community-based residential home that provides structured supervision, predictable routines, and therapeutic support designed to promote safety, accountability, emotional stability, and positive developmental outcomes.

Our program is built around six core goals designed to support every dimension of a young person’s well-being.
Behavioral Support and Skill Development
- Implementation of structured behavior support and reinforcement systems
- Instruction in emotional awareness, self-control, and regulation
- Support for accountability and responsible decision-making
- Conflict resolution and communication skill development
- Goal-setting and problem-solving activities
Educational Coordination
- Collaboration with public, alternative, or specialized education programs
- Monitoring of academic progress and coordination with school personnel
- Tutoring and academic support as needed
- GED preparation and vocational readiness activities when appropriate
Life Skills and Daily Living
- Financial literacy and basic money management
- Meal planning, preparation, and nutrition education
- Household responsibilities and personal accountability
- Time management and organizational skill development
- Preparation for independent or semi-independent living
Health and Wellness Coordination
- Coordination of routine medical, dental, and vision care
- Assistance accessing community healthcare resources
- Wellness education and health promotion activities
- Medication coordination when applicable
Advocacy and Systems Collaboration
- Participation in court proceedings, IEP meetings, and service planning conferences
- Ongoing collaboration with placing agencies, guardians, and service teams
- Assistance navigating service systems and community resources
- Regular communication with referral sources and stakeholders
how we plan
Discharge Planning
Discharge planning begins upon admission and is coordinated with the placing agency and treatment team.
Planned Discharge
A planned discharge may occur when the youths Individual Service Plan goals have been achieved or meaningful progress is documented; the youth demonstrate readiness for reunification, step-down care, or an alternative placement; a coordinated transition plan has been developed and approved; and aftercare services and follow-up supports are in place.
Unplanned Discharge
An unplanned discharge may occur when the youth’s needs exceed the program’s capacity to maintain safety; ongoing refusal to participate in services persists despite documented interventions; or immediate removal is required due to court action, hospitalization, or urgent safety concerns.All discharges include coordination with referral sources, transition planning, and required documentation.

Reducing maladaptive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviors through individualized behavior support strategies and therapeutic skill development
Strengthening coping skills, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making capacity to improve daily functioning and interpersonal relationships
Supporting consistent engagement in education, daily routines, and age-appropriate responsibilities to foster accountability and personal growth
Enhancing readiness for successful transition to family reunification, step-down care, or other less restrictive placements through coordinated treatment planning and skill development
Supporting long-term placement stability by addressing underlying emotional and behavioral needs and reinforcing adaptive skills within a residential setting
